Michael P. Hofmann AG (mphofmann.com) [abbreviated as "we", "us" and "our"] is an independent IT consulting company. We offer various services to help them get the most out of the cloud. When you contact us, we need your personal information to figure out how we can best help and get in touch with you.

Data Minimization

We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our web services only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the services or to bill the user.
Locations & Transfers
Your data is located at the sites of our named, third-party data processors. Depending on the extent of your interactions with our offerings, your personal data may be stored or accessed in multiple countries. Whenever we transfer personal data to other countries, we ensure that the data is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Security is our top priority. We develop our offerings and systems with security and data protection in mind. Personal data stored by us and our third-party data processors use industry-standard secure server connections to ensure that their personal data is encrypted both at rest and during secure transmission over the Internet.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personal information. Our security procedures mean that we may require proof of identity before disclosing personal information to them.
Your Rights
Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

request the portability of personal data they have provided to us.
If they wish to do so, they can contact us at any time at the contact address below. It may take up to 30 days for us to respond to their request.
If they have consented to the processing of their personal data for a specific purpose, they may withdraw their consent at any time and we will cease further processing of their data for that purpose.
Complaints & Supervisory Authority
However, if they feel that we have not adequately addressed their complaints or concerns, they have the right to file a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

You can see the date the last version of this privacy notice was posted. Unless otherwise stated, our current privacy notice applies to all personal information we have about you and your account. However, we stand behind our promises and will never materially change our policies and practices to degrade the protection of personal information collected in the past without informing affected customers and giving them a choice.
